JOSEPH FIREFIGHTERS LIMIT RURAL FIRE TO 10 ACRES DESPITE THREATENING WIND GUSTS

A fast response by Joseph Fire and Rescue firefighters contained a grass fire in a rural Joseph farm field to about 10 acres Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 6.

Despite strong wind gusts, the blaze on Tenderfoot Valley Road was doused with water from a wildland engine, two water tenders and an old-school method of firefighting – beating the flames out manually.
